Aquitaine is a french bistro in Chesnut Hill.
We have dinned here a couple of times and while the first time we tried a few years ago we were not terribly impressed, in more recent visits we have been quite happy with the food.
The Boar Bolognese with pancetta was excelent. Very delicate pasta and flavorful sauce. It also did not feel as heavy as other bolognese pasta I have tried. Highly recommended.
In our most recent visit I tried the Michelin Burger and it was extraordinary. One of the best burger I have tried. The caramelized onion flavor mix with cheddar cheese was excelent. The fries and truffle mayonnaise were also outstanding. I think they only other burger I have tried that is as good would be the one at Craigie.
In our visits to this restaurant we have tried other dishes that were quite good as well: escargot and Sole:
